Backward Forward Photo Album

A trip to the local thrift store can yield some great finds, such as record albums with great graphics on the covers.
A couple hours of time and a few supplies can turn them into a special, one-of-a-kind photo album.  This weekend, my daughter was home from college and we put together a little tutorial for [...]

Moo Cards + Xyron = Luggage Tag Love

Here’s a nifty way to make sure that your belongings are returned to you and another way to use two of my favorite things:  Moo cards and Xyron . . . make Moo tags!
The fastest way is to buy a packet of Xyron self-laminating luggage tags at a cost of about $4.00 for 5 tags.

Rubiks Photo Cube on OnePrettyThing

One Pretty Thing is on my daily “must read” list as the go-to place for finding DIY.    The best of the DIY world is offered with a short description, photo, and link.

Thanks, Rachel!

The $1 Memorable Christmas Present

A recent trip to Michaels Craft Store yielded a great find for an inexpensive, but memorable Christmas present – Rubiks Cubes for $1.00.  A little innovation turns them into personalized gifts.

This is Creative Photography

One of my favorite design blogs SwissMiss, made me aware of a brilliantly creative photographer whose flickr set is a must-see.

Michael Hughes “Souvenir” photographs are humorous, well executed, and just a generally fun set to spend time perusing.

Moo Cards

Moo Cards

Moo Cards are a fantastic way to share contact information with people you meet, while showcasing your photographs. They are like a little business card, but better.
One side contains whatever text information you want to share, the other shows your photographs. Each card can contain a different photograph. The print quality is superb and [...]

Displaying Your Photos

While looking at the Smugmug home page, I found a link to a fabulous way to have an alternating display of your photos.  It is called fotoflot.  Images are printed and mounted on acrylic with magnets on the back.  A bracket is mounted to the wall and the magnets attach the images to the wall [...]

Your Photos and iGoogle Themes

iGoogle is not only a convenient homepage where you can see your email, RSS feeds, weather, etc. in one easy place, but the choice of themes is expanding at a rapid rate.  I currently have the Dale Chihuly theme.
If you prefer to utilize your own photos in an iGoogle theme, I found igThemer is a [...]
